This wedding was the marriage of two best friends who also happen to be wonderful people. Lana is as lovely and kind as Jason is charismatic and friendly, and both of them are are brilliant – Lana working on a PhD in psychology and Jason a practicing attorney. But it is more than that: they are so obviously best friends that they remind you of little kids who just can’t wait to go off and play together. Throughout the wedding day it almost looked like they shared a secret language from the way they looked at each other as they chatted and shared private jokes. Lana told me they were like that from the beginning. Their interests were so similar and they were immediately so much at ease together that they knew quickly marriage was inevitable. Both love travel and the adventures that come with it, and they quickly found themselves crossing the globe whenever they could visiting all kinds of places together including London where Jason proposed. This is obviously a passion that they will share for the rest of their lives.
Their wedding was on a perfect September day in St. Louis at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Lana looked beautiful in an elegant strapless gown designed by Austin Scarlett, and her bridesmaids were also lovely in their pewter chiffon gowns by Jenny Yoo from Nordstroms. The bridal flowers and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were created by Franke Peltier of Festive Atmospheres. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Jill at Simcha’s Events, the day flowed seamlessly into a terrific celebration, where the sounds of Galaxy Red kept the crowd happily dancing the night away.
Best wishes to Lana and Jason, may you find much love and happiness as you continue your travels together as Mr. and Mrs!
